Hi, my name is Phil Howell. I'm currently a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Nottingham. When I'm not studying, I work at Preloaded. I have a big interest in web development (both front and backend) and networking and infrastructure. I'm a long term Linux user, but more recently you'll find me hacking on a MacBook Pro.
I'm an avid cyclist, with an interest in both cross country and road touring, completing a 970 mile Lands End to John O'Groats route in 10 days back in 2007. I'm big on music, you can see my Last.fm here, I play the drums in the band Numinous and have been playing the Cello for as long as I can remember.
In case you were interested, I can code/hack/script/develop in C/C++, Java, PHP, SQL, Perl, XHTML, CSS and a bit of Haskell.
All in all, I love to learn and solve problems.
